Two scales, and the tracks are the real difference · review
Italeri 6754 review
A published 24.1 cm (9.5 in) finished length, and a listing that states plainly what is not in the box.
The bottom line The only box here that publishes its finished length and states in writing that tools, glue and paint are not in it — 24.1 cm (9.5 in) of 1:35 Tiger I.
What the maker prints on the page
- Scale: 1:35 · Finished length: 24.1 cm (9.5 in)
- Tiger I Ausf. E, late production
- Illustrated step-by-step instructions, included
- Close-fitting parts
- Tools, glue and paint: not included
The sentence most boxes leave out
« Werkzeug, Klebstoff und Farben sind im Lieferumfang des Plastikbausatzes nicht enthalten. » Three purchases named, before the first part comes off the sprue. On this site’s own shelves that is a cement, a primer and a color — and nothing on this shelf of twelve kits states it as plainly.
What its page leaves out
No parts count, and no word about the track. On a Tiger I that is the one omission that matters: the difference between a vinyl band and two hundred individual links is a weekend.

The declared figures, and where they stop
Strengths
- Publishes a finished length — 24.1 cm (9.5 in) — which only two other boxes in this family do
- States in writing that tools, glue and paint must be bought separately, which most listings leave implied
- A late-production Tiger I is the version with the steel-rimmed wheels, and the box names the variant
Compromises
- No parts count and no track type published, on a vehicle where the track is the whole problem
- The five published bullets are about the instructions and the purchase, not about the kit

What this one leaves open
What does "sp Prod" mean in the title?
Late production — the variant of the Tiger I Ausf. E with the later wheels and fittings. It is the detail that decides which photographs the model can be matched against.
Why does the listing say what is NOT included?
Because tools, glue and paint are three separate purchases, and a first-time buyer who misses that has a box of grey plastic and nothing to do with it. Italeri states it outright, which is more than most boxes here.
How does 24.1 cm (9.5 in) compare with the other 1:35 kits?
The Leopard 1 on this shelf publishes around 273 mm (10.7 in), and it is a longer vehicle. The figures are comparable because both are published; the scales being equal is what makes them so.
